On October 24, 2015, Rachel had the opportunity as Miss Minnesota’s Outstanding Teen 2015, to speak at an Anoka County Foster Care/Adoption Training.  She spoke about the impact of being a sibling to many foster children over the past six years.  Rachel did a phenomenal job and helped prospective foster or adoptive parents gain an understanding of the emotional aspect foster care has on the the entire family.  Rachel also delivered about 20 more Bags of Hope for newly-placed foster children, which were gratefully received by the Anoka County adoption supervisor.
